Happy New year!
Wow! It’s been a long time between posts! I thought I’d start off the year encouring everyone to follow their dreams in 2012. That is one of my only resolutions for 2012; to dedicate more of my time motivating and encouraging others to follow their hearts. I know that sometimes life doesn’t seem like it’s going in the direction that you want it to, and it may appear like your goals aren’t attaintable, but I am proof that anything is possible. The first step in my dream was to write down my goals. It is the first time that they become visual to you and they give you something to work towards. Once you write these down you can start making plans. The more specific they are, the more likely you’ll know how to go about achieving them. Write a date that you’d like to achieve it by so it motivates you to get there and then move onto the next one!
For example, if you want to start a dress label, maybe the first point will be that you need to do a course so you want to enrol in it and make sure you do it by say Dec 2012. This will keep you on track and help you move forward.
I believe that 2011 was such an amazing year for me and so many other people around me, especially you! So what are your new year resolutions? What are you doing to achieve them? I believe that if you believe in yourself, so many others will believe in you too because I am a true believer of everyone who has a dream. So if you’ve had a bad day, or you’ve been feeling a little lost or unsure about what lies ahead, know that you can change all that. You can make 2012 the most special year for yourself!
In additon to continuing my dream, I will be…Enjoying more sunrises and sunsets, Appreciate all the wonderful weddings I’ll be apart of, Spending more time with family and friends, Enjoying a healthier lifestyle (trying), Reading more books, Being less critical of myself, Eat more dark chocolate, Laugh more, Learn something new once a day and just appreciate everything in life…
